The  Aranmore  Music  Program  has a reputation  for success.

Under the guidance of Russell Holmes, Evan Eble and Rhys Wood, students are educated over a wide variety of music styles. The ensembles available for students in both normal and scholarship streams include orchestra, choir, jazz ensembles, guitar supergroup, rock bands and much more.

Classroom music is offered through Years 7-12 with Upper school offering both Music in Society and TEE streams.  There are currently 40 music scholarship students who receive assistance from the school towards their music education.  In 2008 musicians from Aranmore will perform in numerous settings including “ ARTS ON OXFORD   “ a 3 day inaugural festival celebrating our Leederville heritage, “ALICE IN WONDERLAND “a musical play" , The Catholic Performing Arts Festival and numerous other musical events.

Graduates from Aranmore have  been very successful in pursuing professional careers in music, studying and graduating from UWA, WAAPA and TAFE courses.

The Music Department supports the Aranmore Community through community masses, assemblies and open day as well as fundraising events. Music students are encouraged to become confident through performing in front of audiences.
